Curious about my approach to nutrition? Keep reading!

I take a person-centred approach to nutrition, meaning that I consider you the expert on your own body and experiences with food. I am simply there to support you in learning about what dietary approach works for you to help you feel your best - physically, mentally and emotionally. I don’t subscribe to any one way of eating (I’m not part of the keto or paleo clubs!) because I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all approaches to food. We all have our own unique biology, needs, preferences, and life circumstances, which means that a personalised approach is essential.

Can I still eat my favourite foods?

No matter which dietary pattern you follow, all foods can fit as part of an overall balanced diet. When we work together, embracing a positive relationship with food is part of our process to create sustainable, enjoyable habits that can last you for a lifetime.

Can you help me lose weight?

I am not a weight loss dietitian. I prefer a weight-neutral approach in my practice, especially because I work in the eating disorder space. This means that we focus on other markers of success such as energy levels, biomarkers from blood tests, digestive health, and your relationship with food. Most clients find that they are able to better focus on making positive, sustainable changes without chasing the number on the scale.

Online nutrition coaching

Our sessions are conducted via video conferencing or phone call (video preferred). You can learn more about working together by booking a free discovery call.

Initial assessment

60-75 minutes ($200-$225 AUD)*

Our first video appointment is an assessment session where we can chat about your food & body journey so far, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

Your initial appointment will include a plan outlining the first steps to help you reach your goals, along with educational resources and guidance.

Review appointments

45-60 minutes ($150-$175 AUD)*

Without support, making changes to the way you eat can feel overwhelming. Our follow-up sessions offer ongoing support, monitoring, and accountability to help you reach your goals.

Your plan will be adjusted based on your progress, success, challenges, and symptoms since our last appointment.

Review sessions will provide tailored education to help you become an expert in your own health. Initially, we'll meet weekly or fortnightly to help you meet your goals and keep progressing.

*Funding options & Care plans

You may be able to use NDIS funding (self-managed or plan-managed), or Medicare/Private Health rebates towards the cost of appointments, if eligible.

I accept Eating Disorder Care Plans or Chronic Disease Management/Enhanced Primary Care Plans. Please email any valid care plans to megan@thehealthylabel.com.

Experiencing financial hardship? I accept a limited number of clients under concession rates. Discounted session packages are also available - enquire for details.

Apply to work together in 2024

I understand the importance of finding the right fit when it comes to choosing your dietitian, and booking a complimentary, no-obligation 15 minute discovery call is a great way for us to see if we’re a match.

During the call, we will explore your journey with food & nutrition so far, and chat about your goals and how I might be able to support you in reaching them.

Whether you’re seeking assistance with eating disorder recovery, disordered eating and body image concerns, plant-based diets, vegan and vegetarian nutrition, emotional eating, gut health or other nutrition concerns, this call will help us begin the process of creating a tailored strategy to work together.

Note: I won’t be able to provide detailed health or nutrition advice in a discovery call.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
